Vietnam S/S 2023

Silhouette and style were studied with trends and I incorporated them into my design. Using WGSN, further indulged me in what consumer thinks and along with statistic and boards to back it up.

The given Theme was SEA countries. I chance at the Hmong tribe that resides in Sapa, Vietnam, and was rather amused by its textile craft as well as its rich culture. I was rather into minimalism back then, and thought why not merge traditional Vietnam costume into modernised ready to wear?
